The Des Moines Civil & Human Rights Commission collaborates with
Federal, State, and local organizations to foster justice and equality for all
people who live in or visit Des Moines. They do this through three core
activities. First, they increase awareness and enforce the laws regarding
discrimination. Second, they initiate, receive, hear and investigate
complaints of discrimination. Third, they provide human rights education
and training to business and community groups.
