testimonies of how the Children of Jesus ministry has
changed their lives. They shared tales of restoration,
of renewal, of revival, and of rededication to our
Father God. The night ended with spiritual praise,
worship, and prayer.
AREQUIPA
The final stretch of the trip took place in Arequipa
where the missionaries repainted, repaired, and
plastered walls in the Casa Hogar Orphanage. The
orphanage has suffered from wear and tear over the
years and Pastor Jose, director of the orphanage, was
worried that they would not have the funds to repair
their building.
But the team did much more. Members of the team
helped hem holes in the children’s clothing while
others cut hair. Lunch was cooked and served by
the mission team. But the biggest surprise was an
afternoon at the water park with the orphans! They
had so much fun!
God protects those who love Him. While storms and
trials may come their ways, our Great God will always
be there. There is nothing He cannot restore.
