Burke FCCLA Starts To Work On Projects

FCCLA held work nights for members to work on their projects to present at regions and at state. The work nights were held on December 11, 15, and will be held on January 8. This year there are 26 members. More members this year are doing star events.

Frank Even is running for district chairperson. To do that he has to send in an application, interview, make speech to present, and take a test.

Two FCCLA members will be singing the National Anthem at region FCCLA, Haley Benter and Brecken Bartling.

Students Bring Back Deceased Celebrities Life Stories

The Middle School Wax Museum was held in the Burke Civic Center on December 15. The wax museum is when 6th and 7th graders dress up as deceased celebrities and tell their life stories.

To get them to talk, you put money in a container and push the button. They talk about when they were born, their childhood, how they got famous, how they died,and any other interesting facts.
