OVERINVITE. Tables accomodate 10 people, however, we anticipate that about 10% of guests
will be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. To avoid having empty seats at your
table, we suggest that you recruit more than 10 guests, including yourself! Don't worry if you end
up with more than 10 we have tables that can accommodate 12 guests.
THE BEST INVITATIONS ARE PERSONAL ONES. Invite guests in person, by telephone, or
email. Use the sample script in this packet and feel free to customize it to match your tone or
style.
START EARLY! Don't wait until the last minute because people's calendars fill up fast!
FOLLOW UP WITH PEOPLE YOU DON'T HEAR FROM. Just because they don't RSVP doesn't
mean they are not interested in attending the breakfast. People get busy and forget to RSVP.
BE CLEAR ABOUT EXPECTATIONS. Le t your guests know this is a fundraiser. This will make
the "ask" an expected part of the program.
MAKE IT EVEN MORE PERSONAL. Some Table Hosts may choose to decorate their table with
chocolates or have thank you notes at their guests' place settings to make it special.

Breakfast on Wednesday, November 16th.

is, and I know this year will also be great! Last year, more than 500 people attended to share in the
celebration of all that is being accomplished at Young Women's College Prep Charter School as a
