Brain Aneurysm Foundation 9 SUPPORT The Brain Aneurysm Foundation eases the diagnosis, procedural and recovery process for survivors and families by providing phone support, email support, support groups, our main website, and our online support group website. Support groups offer brain aneurysm survivors and their families the opportunity to share life experiences, work through challenges, and find new ways to adapt to changes in their life. The goal of support group meetings is to help alleviate fears and concerns through education and group discussions facilitated by a medical professional. Survivors realize that they are not alone. Survivors and caregivers share their experiences and show support to those in need. There are now 65 support groups located in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, and Canada. 15,000 BAF Support Group Members across the country. 10,000 Global Online BAF Support Group Members.
