"I think my greatest accomplishment is joining cross country, it gave me something to put a goal on. I joined the sport when I was 14, so just last year. The first time I joined, I was an amateur at it and I wanted to quit pretty quickly. Then, Megan Greusal told me to get up and I just wanted to beat her at it. She kind of gave me a push to try harder, and I started getting faster. After that, it wasn't just the medals or the training that kept me going, it was Phil. 4:13 that lit the fire inside of me. It kept me moving and running for the God I love. It has made cross country a big part of my life. I really enjoy doing it and I will continue to do it throughout high school."

"I would say my greatest moment is being on the basketball team. I was around 11 years old when I started playing and I really liked it. I practiced every day, and I still do, so I can get better. When I got on the basketball team here, I felt pretty nervous because I didn't think I was as good as everyone else. Now, I have more confidence in myself and I guess you could say I'm a little bit cocky. I still have to work at it and it can get pretty hard when the coach pushes us everyday, but it made me stay in shape and continues to do so. Basketball really has changed my life."
