context may include topics such as social
stratification, gender, race/ethnicity, and deviance.

A course covering the fundamentals of grammar,
usage, syntax and punctuation to give students

ENGL 0327 Integrated Reading/Writing (IRW)

skills. Development of reading and higher order
thinking skills necessary for college readiness.
Development of college level writing focusing on idea
generation, drafting, organization, revision, and
utilization of Standard English. The intervention

successful completion of ENGL 0301 AND TSI
Writing score of 357-362 or successful completion of
