She slugged .928 in her career and reached base in better than 50 percent of her career plate appearances. As a senior in 2013, Urness put up impressive numbers. She hit .614 (35-for-57) with eight doubles, one triple and seven home runs. Urness produced 34 RBIs and 22 runs scored, while drawing 19 walks. She posted a .718 on-base percentage and 1.158 slugging percentage, while stealing 12 bases in 14 attempts. Urness produced at least two hits in 12 of the Lancers’ 22 games and had 10 multi-RBI performances. She hit two home runs as part of a 4-for-4 effort that included a double and five RBIs against Elsinore. She added five more RBIs, a double and a homer against Paloma Valley. Urness was an All-CIF selection and the Sunbelt League MVP as a senior. As a junior in 2012, Urness helped Lakeside to a 15-10 record. She batted .437 (31-for71) on the year with seven doubles, two triples, seven home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Urness tied for the team lead in triples and ranked second in slugging percentage (.887), home runs, hits and RBIs. She added 11 walks against only three strikeouts while posting a .518 on-base percentage. Following her junior season, Urness earned All-Inland Valley honorable-mention accolades from the Riverside Press-Enterprise. Lakeside finished 19-7 and won its second straight Sunbelt League championship during Urness’ sophomore campaign in 2011. She helped the Lancers to the title by hitting .443 (35-for-79) with nine doubles, nine home runs, one triple, 32 RBIs and 27 runs scored. Her ni
