Patrick Letz ran in all six meets as a sophomore and was a regular in Nebraska’s top-five finishers...opened his
sophomore season with a 30th-place finish (19:31.87) at the Augustana Twilight Invitational, helping the Huskers
earn the team title...was the fourth Husker to cross the finish line in NU’s second meet, taking 17th overall in a time
of 27:05.70...was Nebraska’s No. 5 finisher (27:22) at the Roy Griak Invite before placing 54th overall (25:44.5) at
the Bradley Classic in Peoria, Ill., to close the regular season...was back among Nebraska’s top five at the Big Ten
Championships, placing 85th with a time of 25:39.7...was the fifth Husker to cross the finish line at the NCAA Midwest
Regional, where he ran a time of 32:16.0...earned academic All-Big Ten honors and a spot on the Nebraska ScholarAthlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2014.
2013 (Freshman)
Letz opened his Husker career by finishing 11th in the University Division of the Augustana Twilight on Sept. 6...
took 39th (27:06.90) at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invite in Lincoln, before finishing 176th at the Roy Griak Invite
in Minneapolis on Sept. 28...earned Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll spots both semesters.
Before Nebraska
Letz competed as a 3,200-meter runner for Carl Sandburg High School...ran a personal best of 9:37.92 in the outdoor
3,200 for a fourth-place finish at the Illinois 3A Downers Grove North Boys Sectional...added an indoor personal-best
of 9:54.87.
