The top Show Jumping team were second by only one
point (Tess Gordon on Ballerina, Kendyll Miller on
Chekkera, Madi Wezel on Zorro and Ally Stevenson on
Willow). The Frogley Family trophy was awarded by
Denise Frogley to Mackenzie Heaton for her
sympathetic riding. The Georgina Mellors memorial
trophy was awarded to hard working Carys McCrory
who spent the whole day of the show stewarding (and
smiling).
Last event in term three was the Woodford House
Event, another lovely sunny day of dressage and show
jumping, placings for nearly everyone again but we
didn’t retain the dressage cup .
The team is strong this year and going from strength to
strength with a great depth of talent. Good luck for this
season to all our riders and horses, especially to Tess
Gordon, Ally Stevenson, Gabrielle Bell (and reserve
Kendyll Miller) who have been selected for HB Show
Hunter team at NZPCA National Championships.
Farewell to Sarah Smith and thank you for your support over the years.
