Montclair School is a diverse school located in charming
Montclair Village. Our experienced and nurturing
staff stresses high academic achievement, cultural
responsiveness, and creative artistic expression in our
students. We strive to educate the whole child using rigorous
academic curriculum coupled with a stimulating visual and
performing arts program. Our students learn personal and
social responsibility, self-motivation, and cooperation.
Students are well prepared for academic and personal
success. Opportunities for parental involvement abound at
Montclair. Families can involve themselves as members of
our School Site Council, PTA, Dad’s Club, as well as classroom
volunteers, student tutors, and enrichment teachers for
afterschool programs. At Montclair, we pride ourselves on
our strong educational community. The school supports
an excellent library, full iPad lab, intervention and tutoring
for struggling students, as well as acceleration for those
students working above grade level, vocal music, physical
education, and art. The school offers a variety of afterschool
enrichment opportunities for students ranging from cooking,
martial arts, glass fusing, rock climbing and magic. In
addition, Montclair School also has a school psychologist on
site one two days a week for additional support.
