Elementary TK-5
Esperanza is small school on the Stonehurst Campus that
promotes academic excellence in English and Spanish
through rigorous and relevant instruction. Students in
kindergarten, first and second grades participate in a
dual-language immersion program, learning half the day
in each language. In all grades, teachers integrate English,
Spanish, science and social studies through thematic units on
engaging topics such as animals, immigration, or literature.
Esperanza offers a range of programming, including a
school-wide reading challenge, music classes, garden-based
education, community service projects, after-school tutoring
and enrichment, including sports, arts and dance. Esperanza
welcomes students of all language backgrounds and
encourages English-speaking students to enroll.
