Football Coaches 2014 FRESHMEN COACHES ROBERT MATTESON – Freshmen Head Coach Coach Matteson returns for his third year as the Freshmen Head Coach. He has been with the TCC program for 9 years – six as a head coach at the junior high level. Prior to Traverse City schools, Coach Matteson was the Junior Varsity Assistant Coach at Elk Rapids High School for 3 years. He is a graduate of Elk Rapids High School (‘91) and a veteran of the U.S. Army (‘91-’94) with the 82nd Airborne Division. Robert is married to his beautiful wife Holly of 8 years, and together they are raising Aurora, who is a student here at Central High School. WILLIAM LIVINGSTON – Freshman Assistant Coach William Livingston is a former student and football player for the Traverse City Trojans. Will has been a part of the Trojan’s coaching staff since 1999. He has coached various levels ranging from 7th grade to Junior Varsity. In December of this year William will receive his Michigan teaching certification in Science making him qualified to teach Kindergarten through eighth grade. William and his wife Kerrie have been married for 10 years and have two children, Kendall age 12 and Damon age 10. Kerrie is a Registered Nurse at Traverse City Tendercare. William is the worship leader at his church and enjoys playing the piano and singing. KURT NEVEAU – Freshman Assistant Coach Coach Neveau is entering his second year with the Trojans. Coach Neveau has also coached baseball for the last twelve years; at Bay City All Saints, Bay City Western and Traverse City West. Coach Neveau is a graduate of M
