THE FORMER STANFORD STUDENT-ATHLETES & USE OF STANFORD ATHLETICS FACILITIES It is fairly common for former Stanford student-athletes to retun to the Farm and want to use Stanford Athletics facilities for their own personal workout or to join in a team practice. Former Stanford student-athletes may participate in occasional practices with your team (maximum of three per quarter). However, these individuals may not provide any coaching or instruction at any time to your student-athletes unless they are considered your volunteer coach or one of your countable coaches. If a former Stanford student-athlete requests to use a Stanford Athletics facility, such as the facility your team utilizes, or a sports performance facility, the individual needs to receive prior approval from DAPER through the Individual/Former Student-Athlete Facility Use form. Copies of this form can be picked up from Patrick Dunkley or in the Compliance Services Office.
