SADDLE RIVER

This northern Bergen borough ranks among the top three wealthiest communities in the county, along with Alpine and Franklin Lakes. Broad, flat farmlands interwoven with wooded, rolling hills make it a community filled with strawberry and apple farms. Although many of Saddle River’ s old stone farmhouses can still be found in the borough, more modern architectural designs dot the landscape.
