springtime garden
party theme was
the perfect way
to celebrate April
Poppy Armstrong’s
first birthday,
which was in April.
The main dining room at the
Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack was
whimsically transformed into a
magical garden complete with
white picket fence and floating
helium balloons.
“April’s mom Lauren wanted
to create a garden spring flower
theme because of her daughter’s
name,” party planner Tina
LaMorte, of Oh So Fabulous, says.
“We didn’t want to use real
flowers so we used paper florals
and tissue flowers. It was a whim-
sical secret garden for April.”
The 85 adults, 20 kids and
12 babies in attendance were
greeted at the entrance with a
photo display and birthday board
listing April’s stats and favorite
things.
Mom Lauren gives a big shout-
out to Oh So Fabulous party plan-
ners for creating the theme and
the amazing décor. She also says,
“Patsy’s Entertainment is phe-
nomenal for any children’s party.
They brought the energy and
entertained the kids the whole
time.”
Lauren says it was a delight,
“seeing my baby girl so happy
with the biggest smile on her face
while we sang happy birthday to
her. She was loving it. It was so
adorable!” ●
