The SBP successfully provided bidding assistance worth $ 53 million in work on the International Terminal . In recognition of this accomplishment , the SFO SBP was expanded to the City and County of San Francisco in 1997 , under Chapter 14B . In 2014 , the Surety Bond Program was reimagined as the Contractor Development Program ( CDP ), with expanded areas of technical assistance for the LBE contracting community .
For the past 11 years , MWIS has also worked directly with SFO Risk Management helping to foster and improve the construction safety culture at SFO .
