Karen, a veteran Middle Tennessee exhibitor, called on all of her ability and showmanship to gain the nod of the judges. EBONY ROSE and Charles Warren were in the thick of the battle for the blue all the way and came out with the red rib bon for the reserve honors in this class. Janie Julian Beech and EBONY’S DOLLY proved that they deserve to be rated with the best as they made a consistent show to place third. FINAL HORSE RIDER OWNER & ADDRESS 1. Carter and DELIGHT’S ADONIS winning the top spot in the first of two divisions for two-year-old stallions. John T.'s colt was everything you look for in a young horse and he was ridden superbly by this fine horseman. An impressive reserve winner was the much-discussed MASTER COPY and Russell Pate. Russell and his horse received the nod of one of the judges but could not quite claim the victory. Tying third was Odell McCon nell riding COPY'S DEACON L. Bobo gave his competition little chance for victory as he called on his colt in the final working of 13 horses. The reserve winner was Elmore Brock and SHADOW’S DOUBLE SHOT, a lop colt who appears headed for an even great er future. Rounding out the lop three was the popular trainer from Virginia, Ernie Bugg. rid ing ROYAL DELIGHT. Ernie and his horse were deserving third-place winners.
