ROCK-A-BYE LADY and Anne Daugettc swept the first-place award on all three judges’ cards enroute to an impressive victory over a talented field. Anne and her horse won this class and the championship last year and her victory in this class gave her a head-start for the title this year. The reserve honors went to Cissy Best riding MISS RHYTHM with the attractive Mrs. Ann House receiving the third-place honors on SENSATION’ S FASHION LADY. With 62 of the best juvenile horses in the country entered in this class, there appeared little possibility that the judges could arrive at a unanimous winner... but that was before GREGG’ S PERFECTION and Gregg Gochneaur " did their thing.” They did it well in all three gaits before all three judges and were rewarded with the class honors and three first-place votes from the panel of judges. The reserve award went to JET’ S SECURITY and Debbie Fells, with JUKE BOX CHARLIE and Robert Holley taking the third-place award. The winners in this class were picked from a 1-1-horse final workout.
