CINDY'S SHADOW has proven to be one of the most brilliant mares to hit the show
ing in years. She was undefeated in 1964 with trainer and exhibitor Donald Paschal
and was Reserve World Champion Three-Year-Old at the Celebration. She is by the
sire GO BOY'S SHADOW and the dam MIDNIGHT CINDY LOU.
CINDY'S SHADOW has recently been purchased from Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Robinson
of Chattanooga, Tennessee by Dr. Claude Lee Sexton of Florence, South Carolina,
owner of the already famous Sally Hill Farms, Inc. of Florence and Fayetteville,
North Carolina. His stable is located in Fayetteville and CINDY'S SHADOW is for
his twelve-year-old granddaughter, Candace Williams of Fayetteville, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis H. Williams.
Candace has made a name and place for herself in the show world from three
years of showing. She shows Champion Walking Horse Stock such as GO BOY'S
EBONY ANGEL, MR. CHEVROLET, ETERNAL SUN, and GO BOY'S MR. SOMEBODY.
Last year, 1964, she received 32 Blue Ribbons and 24 Reserves in shows in the
South. This year she has already received 12 Blues from six shows in Amateur and
Juvenile Classes. She is the star of Sally Hill Farms, Inc., and her trainer is the well-
known Kenneth Burk of Lewisburg, Tennessee. Her stable is the showplace of the
Carolinas.
