Ray started riding Walking Horses
in the Spring of 1962, which means she
is now in her second season. Her first
horse, PRIDE’S PERFECT MODEL,
which she showed in a juvenile class at
the Celebration, a large Bay gelding,
age nine. Mr. Graham, president of the
Graham Transfer and Storage Com­
pany, Meridian, Mississippi, bought
PHIL’S GO ROY last year during the
Celebration. The horse’s record this
season is 10 Blues. 8 reserves and 1
third. Ray says, “We have not picked
shows for him. He has shown against
any and all competition that happened
to be showing”. With this record she
entered the Celebration with the atti­
tude that she shared the feel
