Class No . 20 OWNER-AMATEUR ON WALKING STALLIONS
Black as the Ace of Spades and just as impressive was THE IMPALA with blackhaired Kay McFarland up . This duo , in an exhibition of perfect harmony between horse and rider , walked to the blue in this class . As usual , the vote was wide-spread in a top flight contest of strong horses and seasoned amateur riders . The coveted second place red went to Jan Wright , a fierce competitor with a real desire to win , on SUN ’ S CELEBRATION . Third was Deedy Decker , no new-comer to the Celebration ring , on SHADOW ’ S RED WARRIOR , a tremendous sorrel with a big lick . BOMB ’ S HALLY-HOO made a loud noise to win fourth in a class that found her first on the referee ’ s card . Other winners , most of whom were top names in the Walking Horse World , put on a real exhibition all the way .
