black mare, FAIR WARNING, to the World's Championship in the
1963 National Celebration’s Owner • Amateur Stake, one of the
most intensely contested classes in the entire show. With this im
pressive victory the young Texan and her mount convinced all the
crowd that they are strong contenders for the adult, as well as
the juvenile competition. FAIR WARNING, owned by Mrs. Robert F.
Thompson, Doodles' mother, is recognized as one of the truly
great mares of the breed, and her talented rider is capable of
getting the best out of her. Watch for this team in the amateur
championship contests of all major shows.
