THE BIG PICTURE : FIVE-YEAR TRANSFORMATION PLAN : YEAR ONE

By the start of 2020 , the BSO had embarked on a tremendous journey that would take more than six years to complete . The turnaround that followed has proven nothing short of extraordinary . In the face of a global pandemic , the BSO found an even greater sense of urgency to implement our strategic framework , grounded in the four Cs : Culture , Capital , Capacity , and Community .
The State of Maryland Workgroup Report prescribed Ten Strategic Plan Actions , guiding the BSO ’ s objectives , tactical priorities , and a financial framework for FY2021 – FY2026 .
The 2020-21 Season , beginning September 1 , 2020 , marked the first in our five-year strategic plan . While the pandemic informed our priorities , we continued to follow the path collectively paved by all stakeholders .
