Campus life is the sweet life.
Student housing
Students who live on campus actually get better grades and feel more at home. Maybe that’s
because life on campus is so hassle-free. And living on campus will create some of the best
times of your life—with new friends, activities, and lots of great events close by.
Our residence halls offer 24 room types, including Theme Communities (where students
are grouped by major or similar interests) and rooms like the Triple (a shared bedroom and
bathroom with three other students).
There are multiple dining choices, pool tables, academic help, and late-night convenience
stores in the Peterson Heritage Center, Marriott Honors Community, and Lassonde Studios,
and coming in 2020, the new South Campus Housing building for 900-plus first-year students,
with Theme living, access to music rooms, study and meditation spaces, and more. Service
and information desks give you the answers and help you need. And you can work out at the
nearby Student Life Center (including a climbing wall).
Campus shuttles take you to classes and events, while local buses and rail take you downtown
and to seven world-class ski resorts. All for free. For more information, visit housing.utah.edu.
