People
Artist : MASC works with a roster of 60 professional artists or artist groups , totalling 138 individual artists . One third of our artists offer workshops and performances in both English and French . Our artists represent a wide diversity of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds - including Indigenous peoples , people of colour , and immigrants / newcomers - as well as members from the disability community , the 2SLGBTQIA community , and other equity-seeking communities . An additional 20 artists were employed this year for various events and festivals .
Participants : over 65,000 children , youth and adults , including seniors . Volunteers : 86 volunteers contributed 1322 hours supporting our events and providing office support .
School Partners : MASC is fortunate to work with over 250 schools across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec . We work with a total of 18 English and French school boards . Thanks to our online programming , we are expanding this reach .
Community Partners : MASC works in close partnership with over 90 community partners . We work together with community centres , libraries , seniors ' venues , childcare centres and more ! We work alongside our community partners to provide programming that engages their community .
