Bunad is a traditional national costume in Norway. The popularity of this costume began to grow about 60 years ago. Bunad is used in celebration of holiday events. There is a unique bunad to every county in Norway.

These are authentic costumes the way they were worn by the peasant population IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1800S. the knee trousers got replaced by long trousers not long ago.
