NETSOC
Nominated as one of the three best societies in the
country at the USI awards last year, Netsoc is the
Networking, Gaming and Technology Society in
UCC, running gaming & social events every Tuesday
in the Common Room and technical talks and tutorials
every Thursday. We’ve worked with some of the best
techncial companies in the country including Google,
Teamwork.com and more. We even link with the other
computing societies in
[email protected]
Ireland for frequent inter-socs social events and coding
events. We also provide free web hosting, technical
support and other digital services for students: you
can find out more about everything we offer over at
our website, Netsoc.co. If you want to just have a bit
of fun, build something new, or learn some new skills,
come along. We’re always looking for more people
to get involved with talks, projects, events, or just to
come along for a bit of craic.

We would like to welcome all the First Year Nurses and
Midwifery students, as we are an academic society you are all
automatic members. We wish you the best during your studies
in Brookfield and placement in your respective hospitals. Watch
out for our placement prep day before your first placement
where we will give out loads of information and answer
any questions you may have regarding placements. Join our

SOCIETY BIOS
Nurses and Midwives of UCC aims to promote fun as well as
learning. We are a society that welcomes everyone. We will
be having our Nursing & Midwifery Ball in October 2016 for
all. It was sold out last year so we urge everyone to get your
tickets early. We are a fun society, that respects the views of
all we represent. If you have a great idea or would like to get
involved in our society then drop us an email and we would
be only delighted to welcome you. If you have any fundraising
ideas you would like our support with we would love to get
