12th Annual Contest
Division G, District 79
Message from the
Program Quality Director
My dear fellow members and Leaders of Division G,
Congratulations and commemoration from your PQD on this eventful
day of the Division G Annual Contest 2016.
With the humbleness, warmth and attitude of the member Leaders of the
then ‘Division G’ family to enhance learning experiences and inspiration
to continuous growth, the Western Region is having 7 Divisions and 21
Areas with more than 90 clubs. This phenomenal growth was started
from a lone Division in the year 2010-2011 and now we can proudly say
that the ‘Great Division G’ comprises of all family members of Western
Region irrespective of the letters of the different Divisions. There were
lots of stumbling blocks along the way, but the Leaders took them in
their stride and made them learning opportunities with ‘Commitment to
Excellence and Quality’
Quality is a subjective attribute that is conditional, understood and
perceived differently by different people. Being members of District
79, we should place equal or even highly importance and emphasis
in providing quality club environment enabling our club members to
achieve their education goals on time. I believe it is the most opportune
time to focus our minds in building quality clubs. Quality clubs are those
have variety to keep meetings fresh, interesting and have fun whilst
achieving all education objectives. Let us make the club atmosphere
exciting, enjoyable and inviting. The best clubs start and end on time and
follow a fast-paced agenda that builds enthusiasm. Then we will be able
to realize that members are better retained in our Clubs and transforming
to be more effective communicators and leaders.
This year’s Contest Theme ACE (Attitude, Commitment and Excellence) to
Greatness is a clear proof of the Division Leadership and the commitment
of all members to uplift the Toastmasters spirit by excelling in their
performance. It is a fact that being humbled in achievements, showing
‘gratitude’ for each & every one, elevates a person in stature, draws respect,
and attracts love, affection and warmth. Therefore, we, as Toastmasters
learning to interact & communicate in the best possible way, shall show
our gratitude in every walk and talk of life, excel in performance and enjoy
self-satisfaction of achievement.
My hearty congratulations to Division G Director Toastmaster Muhammed
Kunhi, Contest Chairman and Area 7 Director TM Ramces Dungon, all
the committee Chairmen and members for making this Contest a grand
success.
