On any bike, Arenas rates this sector above all others at Jerez.“ I really love sector three, starting in T8. On this exit, you are sliding on the bike and then changing direction into T9. It is technical, but at the same time, it’ s fun. You have to be so precise. If you nail it well, it is so satisfying. It is also an important section of the circuit.”

Every rider rates these first two as difficult- a real challenge- as Lecuona again explains.“ T11 and T12, the two rights, are the fastest corners of the track. You can lose a lot of time there because they are tricky, and also it is not easy to have any reference points.” The final chicane is legendary for epic overtakes- successful or not- in every category of racing there is.
