This study looked to determine the relationship between testing frequency in college courses and stress levels within college students. Data was collected through surveys taken by college students throughout the university and varying in major. The surveys determined major, testing frequency, and stress level. If the findings reflected that stress is indeed on the rise in students with more frequent testing, then this study would provide information necessary to help both professors and colleges / universities create programs that reflect the best educational standard while also meeting the needs of their populus.
Madisson Ronn( In) The Relationship Between Short Term Memory and the Use of Brain Games The researcher examined the relationship between the performance and quality of short-term memory, and the use of brain games. Age was also considered in the collection of data. Through self-report survey, participants answered questions regarding basic demographics, the quality of the participant’ s personal memory by using specific examples and completing a 2-minute memory task that participants were asked to self-report performance. Discussion focused on whether the use and the frequency of the use of brain games affects the quality and performance of short-term memory.
