Additionally, fan engagement strategies and tensions with foreign governments will be discussed. Through these topics, we will evaluate whether the NFL’ s international opportunities are sustainable and if a permanent overseas team is a realistic future. The session will provide insights into the league’ s global growth and long-term viability.

This has led to a trend of players being unable to support themselves even with taking part-time jobs alongside professionally playing the game they love. This begs the question of how teams can find new ways to grow revenue streams and provide financial support to better the lives of players and keep teams and leagues afloat. Although there are historical trends that new independent teams fail financially, there are teams finding ways to succeed.

These facilities and venues may not be fully utilized after the completion of the Olympics, leading to financial losses. Looking at the future Olympics in Los Angeles CA, finding ways to repurposing existing venues, forming public-private partnerships, maximizing long-term use of infrastructure, and increasing revenue through sponsorships and tourism taxes, we would like to provide solutions. Seeking federal funding as an option to help with financing this large, scaled event.

This could be because of lost revenue because a star isn’ t playing, the rise of player’ s salaries, or maybe medical costs increasing. Injuries have a major impact on the franchise, it can reduce fan engagement, lead to worse team performance, and decrease value all together. Teams now have to invest in rehab for players and even injury prevention programs to keep players healthy. Now, teams and leagues are using data to improve players’ health and keep them performing well.
