As soon as the pandemic hit , Nagle says the focus was to shift as many restaurants as possible to a take-out model and increase outside dining
accommodations , then spread the word through social media and other platforms that the center was still open for business .
“ It has not been easy for them , but I am proud of how our tenants fought back ,” says Nagle . “ My opinion is that you can ’ t fear COVID , but you have to respect it and work around it . We were in survival mode and in this together .”
While the region ’ s business base has proven to be resilient , its continued economic health hinges on one important factor : housing . Developments like Serrano ( developed by Parker Development Company ) have paved the way for the area to become what Debbie Manning , president and CEO of the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce , describes as “ one of the most prestigious residential areas in Northern California .”
But many developers and area stakeholders agree El Dorado Hills could
