Capital Planning Advisors , founded
in 2006 , is a fiduciary investment advisory firm providing professional asset management and strategic wealthplanning services to high-net-worth , business and nonprofit clients . Headquartered in Roseville with offices in Walnut Creek , the firm is guided by partners CEO Jim Wilson , Chief Investment Officer Jason Bell , founder Larry Hansen and Wealth Management Counsel Michael Sollazzo . The four partners are joined by eight other team members .

Despite recent market volatility because of the pandemic , economy and social unrest , the firm has actually grown in the midst of it all . “ We attribute that to building great internal and external relationships ,” says Wilson . “ We also run our investment management in-house , at the same high quality as bigger institutions .”
The firm has increased assets under management by nearly 45 percent in the past 18 months , even in a difficult environment , to nearly $ 1 billion . “ We ’ re proud of that because it ’ s all based on the quality of our work and the value and care we place in our relationships ,” Bell says .
