The Circuito Estoril has hosted WorldSBK weekends several times, but each time is a special return to a venerable yet revered icon of Portuguese motorsport. Join us and some stars of the WorldSBK paddock as we go for a lap of the famous 4.182km long Estoril circuit near Portugal’ s capital city.

T1 – T2

Super-heavy braking is needed here, after the long main straight, before a hard right that was- a few years ago- modified to be more than 90 ° and even has a real kink on the way out. The exit line for the next short straight, then the first of the faster corners, at the right-hander of T2.

Uma forte travagem é um requisito obrigatório após a longa reta principal que antecede a acentuada curva à direita. Esta curva foi modificada alguns anos atrás para ter mais de 90 °, no que representa uma verdadeira torção da pista na linha de saída. A trajetória leva-nos para uma curta reta e logo para a primeira das curvas mais rápidas, a curva 2 para a direita.

A tight right hairpin leads very quickly into a tight left hairpin. The exit of T4 is crucial to get right for the next straight and subsequent kink.

T5 – T6

A fast and- no doubt fun-filled- kink at T5 features a decent straight right afterwards, before the hard downhill braking for a kind of parabolic T6, complete with an exit that opens out as the riders head onto the next straight.

A curva 3 trata-se de uma direita fechada que nos transporta rapidamente a outra curva fechada, desta vez à esquerda. É fundamental acertar na saída da curva 4 para a reta seguinte e a curva que esta tem a meio.

Rápida e divertida, à curva 5 segue-se uma reta razoável, antes da forte travagem na descida para uma espécie parabólica, a curva 6, a qual apresenta uma saída que se alarga à medida que os pilotos entram na reta seguinte.
