This presentation will share evidencebased findings from using electronic literature searches from the CINAHL database and journals in occupational science and occupational therapy . We implemented a series of five modules over three weeks . Our modules consisted of five different stress-relieving activities . Our results showed improvements in mental health outcomes in both of our participants .

An evidence based-literature review will be completed to explain the gaps and needs for community-based life transition programs for adolescents . Electronic literature searches of occupational therapy journals and databases including CINAHL , EBSCO , and PubMed will be completed to determine both life transition program efficacy as well as how inclusion of occupational therapy can be incorporated into this type of programming . Hannah Mullen , Julia Berry , Kayla Reilly , Lindsay Stenderowicz and Breana Knauss ( P ) An Equine-Assisted Resilience Program to Improve Anxiety , Feelings of Loneliness , Mood , Motivation , and Relationship Satisfaction for Female Spouses of First Responders : A Mixed Methods Study This study ’ s purpose was to determine the outcomes of combining relaxation , mindfulness , and communication techniques with equine-assisted therapy among female spouses of first responders . This was completed via 6 modules over 4 weeks and indicated that there was no statistically significant difference in quantitative assessment scores . However , participants reported the program made a positive impact on them via qualitative interviews .
