You would be forgiven for thinking that most people would be pretty good at knowing what makes them happy . After all most of the pursuits and activities we fill our lives with today are chosen to make us happy . Many of us are convinced if we had our wish list we would be happy . However , what psychologists tell us is whilst wanting to be happy sounds like a simple thing to achieve , the truth is finding happiness is harder than people think . One of the reasons for this is there are two different approaches to happiness .

The first is called Hedonic The second is called Eudaimonic

Okay , so these are not words we hear very often or you may never have heard them before or know what they mean . So let ’ s watch a short clip to find out more and discover the different approaches to happiness and what each one can lead to .
