Sweet Corn Serenade
Sweet Corn Serenade captures the feeling of an old-fashioned summer cookout on Oskaloosa ' s picturesque city square each July. The event brings thousands downtown for roasted sweet corn and live music. This year ' s event will be July 23 from noon to 9 p. m. and will include a vendor fair, food trucks, children ' s activities and more.

Every Thursday in June and July, the PACE Alliance hosts a themed mini-festival in downtown Pella. With upwards of 2,000 people attending weekly, Thursdays in Pella features food trucks, games, live music, family-friendly entertainment and more— all free of charge.
