Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,840 m/12,595 ft & 5/6 hours)
Sturdy climbed out from Namche
Bazaar to a junction of Everest base
camp trail and Syangboche airstrip.
Now we follow a gentle trail with
looking superb view of the Himalayas
like Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse,
Nuptse, Taboche, Thamserkuk,
kangtega to Kyangjuma. Now trail
drops down all the way to bank of
Dudh Koshi River and has a lunch at
one of a nice local restaurant before
onward uphill. The switch-back up
will go into rhododendron forest to
Tengboche monastery. The trail will
be very colorful in April/March/May because of the blossoming of rhododendron. Tengboche monastery is
Largest Buddhist monastery in Solu Khumbu with carrying more than 200 years history. Some part of the
monastery was destroyed by a devastating earthquake in 1934 and 2015 but repaired it with an original look.
Our guide will take you in the monastery on a scheduled ceremony where monks often blessed you to succeed
in your ultimate adventure to Kala Patthar and EBC. In a 6 hours trekking, you will ascend four hundred
meters and distance of 10 km.

Day 06: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,440 m/14,563 ft & 6 hours)
A short descent through the
rhododendron forest brings us
nunnery monastery at Diboche and
follow yak trail to over wild Imja
River. Then brief climb up to lower
Pangboche popular for potatoes
fertilize farm and mountain climber
home. There is small monastery at the
middle of a village which resident of
Ringpuche, a reincarnation monk.
Hike towards to Dingboche pass
Samare, Orso village and finally arrive
Dingboche. It might’s take 5/6 hours
to Dingboche with ascending 600
meters and length of 10 km, it seems lot compare to other days but the trail is pretty easy without a steep climb
up.
