Not For Profit-

A not for profit retailer is an organisation with an ulterior motivie to making a profit. Not for profit stores are most commonly found in in-town locations such as highstreets. They are unlikely to be found in out-of-town areas , expecially those selling high end products or services. Typically not for profit shops have a homely ambience with friendly staff; these staff work voluntarily. The products on offer are donated to the store to then sell on, the products are most commonly second hand goods (clothes, home furnishing, CD's, books etc). The stores visual displays are very basic and can be unorganised and not particularly appealing.

Specialist Store-

A specialist store is a store that caters to one specific retail market: specialist stores include camera stores, pharmacies, stationers and bookstores. In other a words specialist store is a store which specialises in one breed of products. Most specialty store business operators will maintain considerable depth in the type of product that they specialize in selling, usually at premium prices, in addition to providing higher service quality and expert guidance to shoppers.
