much in the light of eternity. He spoke of storing up treasure in Heaven rather than here on
earth. When it came to “feel-good” theology we just need to look at Paul’s life and we can see
how often things seemed to go wrong for him. He was in and out of prison continually; he was
shipwrecked, beaten, misrepresented and badly treated. If anybody deserved for things to
always go well for him, in the mind of these theologians, it should surely have been the
