people, I entered into a conversation with this man and we spoke much about
his life. But as the plane came into the final approach this man asked me what I
do. I explained to him that my passion is to help people who find themselves in
sad circumstances and who face enormous challenges relating to injustice,
crime, poverty and HIV/AIDS. I only had a few minutes to explain this to the
man, but after the plane had landed and I stood to retrieve my bags from the
overhead compartment, I looked down to bid this man farewell and noticed that
he was crying. I quickly sat down again and asked him why he was so emotional.
