I want to share a good idea on how to prevent חילול שבת when using the sink on Shabbos for cold water . The single handle easily turns to warm or hot water especially with children ' s use . There is an option to close the hot water valve on the hot water heater ( next to the boiler ) before Shabbos , thereby making it impossible to use the hot water on Shabbos .
