With his eye on the overall health of the Sacramento regional economy and specifically the construction industry , Tony Moayed , CEO of Tricorp Group , Inc ., has been a Region Business board member since 2018 .

Sacramento now has a larger homeless population than San Francisco — more than 9,200 people .
Moayed and his partners at Tricorp Group have stepped up to assist Region Business in support of Measure O , which will require the City of Sacramento , using existing revenue , to establish new temporary shelter locations where people can get help moving toward permanent housing . Within 90 days of adoption , encampments will be prohibited based
on additional capacity . Residents harmed by illegal camping on city property can file legal complaints to force action .
“ We are also pleased that the Mayor and Council have created a new 4x2x2 Committee with the County of Sacramento to develop a Partnership Agreement that would detail enforcement and shared communication to meet the growing need with social and mental services ,” Moayed says . “ Measure O will help clean up our streets .”
Tricorp Group is a leader in the multifamily and affordable housing markets . As the contractor for the 1801 West Capitol apartments , Tricorp was instrumental in what is now celebrated as West Sacramento ’ s first permanent supportive housing community by Mercy Housing California . Considered a landmark achievement , the community includes 85 units for people transitioning from homelessness and is now fully occupied .
