METRO AIR PARK
The development near Sacramento International
Airport has been a long time coming, with major
milestones on the horizon

With decades of visions, plans and
progress behind it, Metro Air Park
is burgeoning with a new freeway
interchange, finance plan, tenants and
buildings.
According to Tom Ramos, president
and project manager of the Metro Air
Park Property Owners Association, the
idea for project zoning dates back to the
late 1960s. Direct planning began in the
mid-1980s, and construction began in
2004. This development has been a long
time coming, and this nearly 1,900-acre
master-planned industrial park could
be a boon to the Sacramento regional
economy.
With about 1,450 net acres for commercial
and industrial development, the
