Today , Oak Valley has 17 branches and over $ 1.5 billion in assets . The Sacramento office is led by Branch Manager , Suzi Lewis . Their Capital Region team also includes commercial lenders , Tom Harris , Matt Morgado , and Michael Stevens .
“ The past year underscored our commitment to the small business community and put our branches and commercial banking teams on display ,” stated Chris Courtney , President and CEO . In 2020 , Oak Valley processed over 1,650 first draw PPP loans , totaling nearly $ 250 million as they sought to secure desperately needed funding in support of small businesses . The bank is also proactively engaging with clients and hard-hit industry business owners regarding second draw PPP applications .
“ As a community bank , we take our role in the pandemic response as both obligation and opportunity ,” added Cathy Ghan , Commercial Real Estate Group . “ It has been intensely gratifying to see our team step up to advise and assist so many businesses as they navigate these challenging times .”
The bank also stands strong on their pledge to deliver its unique brand of personalized service . Understanding that business banking comes with a certain amount of complexity , the bank has embraced digital channels to expedite transactions while keeping branches open during the pandemic . This ensures clients who desire in-person consultation continue to have the option to receive that level of interaction and collaboration .
“ We were so proud and honored to help local businesses endure the twists and turns of the past year . While it was filled with uncertainty , it opened doors for us to sit with business owners to offer solutions on rebuilding and growth ,” concluded Suzi Lewis , Branch Manager . “ It has been a genuinely rewarding experience which strengthened our bond with many clients .”
“ It has been intensely gratifying to see our team step up to advise and assist so many businesses as they navigate these challenging times .”
