Industrial projects are booming in the commercial real estate sector in spite of —

or perhaps because of — the pandemic . Distribution centers , warehouses , truck yards , office buildings and other pieces of the logistics puzzle are being leased and built at a rapid pace . Vacancy is low , rents are high and construction is going gangbusters .

Comstock ’ s spoke to leaders in the industry who have either served on the Sacramento Valley Chapter board of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks ( NAIOP ) or are Certified Commercial Investment Members ( CCIM ) in Northern California to get their take on current trends and what ’ s in store for the future .
