What is the UK like in terms of geography?
People tend to forget how small the UK actually is.
In fact, its total area is only 242,495 km 2 , which is three times
smaller than Texas, and less than half the size of Thailand.
The landscape of the UK varies, from the mountainous
Scotland and Wales to the lowland of England, which is at or
under the sea level. It has small rivers, but a lot of lakes,
especially in Scotland (where the famous Loch Ness is).
