dictionary. Someone needs to compile them.
Even though there had been
attempts to make dictionaries
before, the first complete
English-English dictionary was
written by Samuel Johnson
and was published in 1755.
Consisting of 43,000 words,
Johnson’s work represents a
milestone in the English
language.
However, there is one slight
problem with this dictionary.
