What is your favourite Black TV show? Or your favourite Black talent in TV and why?
My favourite Black TV shows are ones like The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and My Wife and Kids. Talent wise, I love Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, Kerry Washington – Scandal was my favourite show when it was on air, Viola Davis of course, she’s amazing in everything and How to Get Away with Murder was such a good series too!
What do you enjoy about your job?
Learning more about social media as I do it. It’s always changing and there’s new things to discover about the different platforms so its fun to do that and also see when things perform really well and when they don’t perform so well, work out ways to make it better.
What are your top tips for Black talent in TV to get ahead in the industry?
Know what you want and go for it. No matter what anyone else says, it is really important. Putting yourself first and having that innate belief in yourself will really push you to get the best results possible.
